Rug Washing

Meticulous

Our innovative system for cleaning valuable rugs utilizes a combination of state-of-the-art equipment and traditional hand cleaning techniques. To begin the cleaning process, each rug undergoes a thorough evaluation to determine its specific needs. Initially, the rug is immersed in water and the back is meticulously washed using a gentle rotary buffer and our specially formulated coconut oil soap. Subsequently, the rug is flipped over and any spots or stains are treated with a pre-spotting solution to effectively remove or loosen them. Following this, the rug is once again soaked in cold water, with the fringes being scrubbed by hand, while the front of the rug is meticulously washed using a rotary brush. Afterward, the rug is rinsed and passed through a pressurized wringer to eliminate excess water. It is then carefully placed on a pole and left to dry in a heated room with proper air circulation for a period of 2-5 days. Midway through the drying process, the fringes are rinsed once more. Once the rug is completely dry, it is brushed to restore the pile and then re-hung for final drying. Once dried, both the front and back sides of the rug are vacuumed, and the fringes are meticulously brushed.
